Most pork loin is as low in fat as turkey breast. Pork loin is a sensational way to get your proteins without the fat. I like a good rub on a pork loin. The problem is most rubs are loaded with processed sugar. That's no good. This pork loin rub is amazingly flavorful and was most of the sugars eliminated. Your family will love this!
Ingredients
1 tablespoon molasses
1/4 cup Fructevia, Steviva Brand Stevia Blend or 1 tiny scoop of stevia extract.
3 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
2 pounds pork tenderloin
Directions
1. Combine spices, molasses and Fructevia, Steviva Brand Stevia Blend or stevia extract. Coat pork evenly with the rub. Refrigerate 30 minutes or up to 3 hours for stronger flavor.
2. Lightly grease grill rack. Preheat grill to medium heat or use indirect heat method. Grill 25-30 minutes or until pork registers 160 degrees F with meat thermometer, turning occasionally. If you don't have access to a grill, you can bake this at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
3. Remove from grill, cover with aluminum foil. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into thin slices.
