I can't count how many times I hear "what the hell - where did you get all the energy and endurance". My answer - I start my day with a cup or two of my version of Bullet Proof Coffee and so should you. Here's why: Bullet ProofCoffee is high in omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids (which reduces body fat) and is a good source of vitamin K, both of which according to a studies reduce the risk of heart disease. additionally, t t provides healthy fats for your brain and body to create cell walls (membranes) and hormones. The short-chain fatty acid Butyrate, once thought to be bad for you, has been linked to preventing neurodegenerative diseases, increased energy expenditure, and is also anti-inflammatory, further preventing heart disease. When you drink it first thing in the morning it puts your body in the routine to burn fat all day, helping you trim down overall. CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), found in grass-fed butter, has been shown to reduce body fat mass especially in overweight individuals.

Bullet Proof Coffee will give you energy as well as increase cognitive function that you can literally feel when it kicks in for about six hours- and without the crash. Mixed with the more healthy fats from coconut oil, this tasty elixir will help produce ketones, which are created when your body creates energy from fat rather than carbohydrates.

Boom! So there you go.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoon unsalted grass-fed butter (like Kerrygold)
2 tablespoon of coconut oil
2 tablespoon hot freshly brewed organic coffee
1 tablespoon of Marrakesh Spice Nectevia (stevia fortified agave)
2 tablespoon of cream

Directions

Brew coffee. This can be espresso, drip, french press, etc.

Pre-heat blender. Pour hot water into your blender while your coffee is brewing.

Blend and froth. Empty the hot water from the (now preheated) blender. Add coffee, butter and coconut oil.

Add Marrakesh Spice Nectevia (stevia fortified agave).

Add cream. (optional)

Blend until there is a thick layer of foam on top like a latte. Yes, you can also use a hand held stick blender – they work quite excellently.

Enjoy!
