With Spring around the corner it is getting to be time to fire up the Barbecue. The only problem Barbecue sauce is generally loaded with sugar. Here's a great Barbecue sauce that tastes awesome and is low in sugar.


1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/2 cup light molasses
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup Fructevia, Steviva Brand Stevia Blend or a dash of Steviva Brand Stevia Powder
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 small clove garlic, minced
2 teaspoons seasoned salt
2 teaspoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons orange or lemon zest
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon pepper



Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes. Brush on chicken or meat during last 15 minutes of grilling.

Makes about 3 1/2 cups - freeze extra sauce
